Our firm trains professionals in the building analysis and improvement industry to national standards of excellence through the Building Performance Workshop. Every Building Performance Workshop holistic training program is designed to help analysts, contractors, and inspectors gain the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the current wave of high performance homes and weatherization.

The Building Performance Workshop is a chance to learn the trade from full-time practitioners. Participants study with Green Dream Group's ever-energetic lead analyst and trainer, Corbett Lunsford. Corbett is an experienced trainer, presenter, energy auditor, and HERS Rater.  He serves as the Executive Director of the Illinois Association of Energy Raters and Home Performance Professionals, hosts the Building Performance Podcast, and is a Provider Education Partner for USGBC-Illinois.

Building Performance Workshop StudentsScheduled BPI trainings are 3 or 6 days long. There are site visits during each week of the training, for hands-on application of the principles and standards our participants work to master. Books included with the training may include the Building Performance Workshop Manual, the Energy Auditor Field Guide, Bruce Harley's How to Insulate and Weatherize, and a guide to the specialty of your choice (HVAC, multifamily, envelope).
