Commercial Building Energy Audits

Green Dream Group, LLC provides Level I & II energy audits for public and for-profit buildings in the Chicago area through the Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (SEDAC).  The building must be tenant-owned, and if it's not municipal, it must add value to the product or service it deals in (i.e. no warehouses or distribution outlets).  Non-profit organizations are not eligible, since they don't pay into the tax base that this funding draws upon.

The Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (SEDAC) provides advice and analyses enabling private and public facilities in the State of Illinois to increase their economic viability through the efficient use of energy resources. SEDAC is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Community and Economic Opportunity in partnership with ComEd and Ameren Illinois Utilities and provides valuable services at no cost to for-profit businesses and public facilities. SEDAC is managed by the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the 360 Energy Group.
