About ENERGY STAR Home Certification
 ENERGY STAR qualified products and practices help you save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by meeting strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. EPA and U.S. DOE. The ENERGY STAR label also designates superior energy performance in homes and buildings.
While any of Green Dream Group's energy audits can help you acheive greater degrees of comfort and energy savings, the ENERGY STAR label is a permanent, recognized certification of energy efficiency. Green Dream will usher builders and rehabbers through the ENERGY STAR process, providing third-party verification, diagnostic testing and infrared thermographic imaging, completion of the Thermal Bypass Checklist, and submittal for the home's ENERGY STAR label. This service is only applicable to new construction and gut rehabs.

About LEED for Homes
 LEED for Homes is another rating system that promotes the design and construction of high performance green homes. The LEED standard (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accounts for building performance as well as materials and resources, site sustainability, landscaping, and more. It is very comprehensive, and is one of the most well-known building certifications. As a LEED for Homes Green Rater, Green Dream Group offers technical diagnostics and verification in the certification of LEED for Homes projects, and is a vital support network because of its involvement in the leadership of USGBC-Chicago's Residential Green Building Committee.
